FROM Staff

Wendie Preiss, Executive Director

I am thrilled to apply my 15+ years of learning in leadership and management at FROM. In addition, working here enables me to incorporate my heart for service into every day. Before joining FROM, I consulted with nonprofit organizations with regards to program, organization, and leadership effectiveness. My husband and I have two sons that attend Lowell schools. Outside of work, I enjoy watching plants and my sons grow.

Arianne Hall, Development Director

I was raised on a dairy farm in northern Michigan and love working in Lowell because it reminds me so much of my hometown and my roots. My job at FROM is to build relationships with people, and helping to connect their passions with opportunities that make an impact in our community. I love listening to people share their stories and their passions. In my spare time, you’ll find me reading my next book for book club, volunteering at the church where my husband works, planning my next international trip, or helping my parents on their dairy farm.

Christy Baldwin, Business Manager

Christy is deeply invested in the community. She’s an avid volunteer with several organizations and cares about making the world a better place – while encouraging others to participate in that too! Outside of work she and her husband and 5 children live in Lowell with  2 spoiled dogs, and a cat.

Diane Barnes, Administrative Assistant

I graduated from Davenport University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  I worked for many years in the automobile business as an accountant and Office Manager. My role at FROM has been long and varied, from volunteering at Treasurers Thrift Shop and the Food Pantry to the VITA tax program to reception and administrative duties. On a personal note, I enjoy attending my grandchildren’s sports and events, as well as volunteering at my church and on boards and committees, such as United Methodist Women and  Lowell United Methodist Preschool.

Kelly Glas, Healthy Food Program Coordinator

I graduated from Cornerstone University with a Business Degree and have been able to use it to impact the community in many ways. I’m passionate about food allocation and making sure the community has access to whole, nutritious food. In my free time I love being outdoors with my husband and dog.

Monica, Client Services Coordinator

I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor Degree in Social Work.  I have worked in the fields of education and mental health providing children, parents and families support and encouragement in their life journey for over 20 years.  I appreciate the opportunity to work with a great FROM team providing services and resources in the Lowell community.  My family has lived in the Lowell area for 17 years and my two children graduated from Lowell High School. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, hiking and reading.

Tarin Hasper, Treasures Thrift Shop Coordinator

To Tarin, this role feels like a great way to combine her Sustainable Business education from Aquinas College and a great love of thrifting, repurposing, and crafting.  She can’t wait to bring in new ideas and find more ways to divert items from the landfill.  Tarin lives in Lowell with her Husband, son, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.  When not creating, they love gardening, playing in the mud, hiking, and all the silly things 3-year-olds do.
